HOLY FAMILY news item Meals on Wheels

DECATUR MEALS ON WHEELS ♦Holy Family Parish needs volunteers to deliver lunches for the Decatur Sr. Center. HF is responsible for the 3rd week of each month. “Open days” are Tuesday and Wednesday. Thank you to Lynn K for taking the Monday deliveries.

Deliveries are made at 11:00 AM to 7-8 people (approx. 5 stops) Please contact Jackie at the Center 402-349-5525 if you can help to ‘feed the hungry’. Thank you!




♥Ladies of St. Patrick Altar Society will sponsor the praying of the Rosary before the Sunday Masses (7:40 AM) and prior to the Saturday evening Mass @ 4:40 PM. You can volunteer to help lead the prayers on these evenings.

Ladies, thank you for paying dues in a timely manner.

❀Altar Society: Altar Society Love Basket chances are available. Tickets are 1/$1 or 6/$5. If you would like to purchase tickets/chances by mail, please contact Linda Shada Pres., Ali Petersen VP, or Jane Elske Sec. ✿Project of the Month – donations of Jello and cake mix for the T-H-D Food Pantry would be much appreciated.

All ladies of the parish are invited to attend these meetings.

Mass and Eucharist

Consider daily Mass as an opportunity to participate in the Mass and receive the Eucharist while the dispensation for weekend Mass is still in effect.



First Friday Eucharistic Adoration

Beginning Oct. 2nd, St. Patrick will offer a half hour of Eucharistic Adoration after the 8:30 AM Mass.



Second Collection - Missions

February is "Mission Month". There will be a collection for Home & Foreign Missions February 6th & 7th. The collection for Black & Indian Missions is February 20th & 21st.

Food Pantry & Helping Hands Thrift Store

★Helping Hands Thrift – Newly opened in the former Cottonwood Clinic – Open Fridays 9:00 – 5:00 and Saturdays 9:00 - 1:00. Please see mini posters for donation items requested. They would love to see you donating, shopping or volunteering to help out. Contact Patty @ 402-870-1401 to volunteer or to get additional information.
Help is needed to open and close the register on these days.



Stations of the Cross

We will be praying the Stations of the Cross on Friday mornings of Lent after the 8:30 AM Mass at St. Patrick AND 6:00 PM on Friday at St. Patrick .

First Communion & Mass Time change

♦Mark your calendars: First Communion Mass will be Sunday, March 21st at 10:00 AM at St. Patrick. Mass at Holy Family will be at 8:00 AM on that day. Mass times will resume for Palm Sunday, March 28th (8:00 AM @ SP/10:00 AM @ HF)
